This fruit weissbier has a rich color and refreshing tart flavor. Serve chilled with a slice of orange. The interplay between malted wheat and fruit makes this a great autumn and springtime brew.
1 Can Blackrock Whispering Wheat malt extract
1 can Brewtec Brewing sugar
1 Packet Dry Brewing Yeast (under lid of beer mix)
2 cans or jars of cherries( stoned) Delmaine
In your sanitized blender, purée the fruit, and set it aside to add later. Follow instructions on the back of your blackrock wheat can. When you have added hot water to the malt extract and liquid sugar you can add your can of pureed fruit, stir vigorously to mix well. Follow instructions on can and make up to 23litres at the correct temperature.
FERMENT A MINIMUM OF TWO WEEKS at room temperature
